Great Eckworthy – The Granary is a delightful rural retreat surrounded by gorgeous countryside that is perfect for those looking for an adults-only luxury getaway to north Devon. Positioned at the top of the drive, it overlooks the beautiful valley.
Completely renovated in May 2022, with a wonderful combination of sunny outside spaces and cosy interiors, you’ll always be able to find somewhere to relax in this characterful cottage for two.
There is private parking for 2 cars. Guests can enjoy superfast WiFi and the delightful local pub which is only 2.5 miles away!
The Granary is pet free.
The Bedroom
Downstairs there is a bedroom with a truly gorgeous king-size Simba bed. The Granary has the luxury of a very generous dressing room with plenty of storage, dressing table, chair and chest of drawers, so there is plenty of space for all of your things.
The Shower-Room
Downstairs, you’ll find the shower-room with a WC and wash-basin. It is a divine space perfect for retreating to at the end of the day for a soothing shower or to refresh yourself before a day of exploring North Devon.
Kitchen & Living Area
This is a reverse-level cottage with the kitchen, lounge and dining area located upstairs. You can enjoy glorious views across the fields, a smart TV, electric hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine/drier, and slimline dishwasher. There is also a beautiful wood burner for the chillier evenings.
Outside Space
Oh, and we can’t forget to mention the very special outside space. You’ll find a private patio with hot tub, table and sun loungers. The area boasts very peaceful surroundings with incredible night skies, perfect for a spot of stargazing.
