We spent 5 days here and loved every minute of it.
Navigating to the cottage is easy if you use the “What 3 Words” app but using Google Maps on my phone also worked. When we got there we were greeted by our hosts, Anne and Chris, who gave us a quick rundown of how to use equipment such as the hot tub controls and the wood burner. The welcome food package they gave us at the start of our stay was much appreciated as was the wood burner which they had already started in advance.
Everything in the cottage was high end luxury from the kettle to the bathroom fittings; their attention to detail was impressive.
The hosts were never far away from us but we never felt crowded and only saw them fleetingly during our stay. If you want quiet then this is your place. The loudest noise for most of our stay was the low hum of the hot tub!
My phone signal was rubbish in the cottage but better outside. Their Wi-Fi was much better for using the internet and the Netflix service they supplied free with the stay worked fine.
Our particular cottage (called The Cottage) had a small fenced off area in which we could leave our dog to roam without a lead but for anywhere else on the site a lead is required as there is a nearby field which can contain sheep.
Overall, an excellent stay that I would not mind repeating.
