A peaceful retreat in the heart of the countryside – absolute perfection!
We recently stayed at The Barn at Great Eckworthy and it truly exceeded all expectations. The property is beautifully designed, offering the perfect blend of rustic charm and contemporary comfort. The kitchen was immaculately clean and well-equipped, ideal for self-catering – and the attention to detail throughout the barn was outstanding.
One of the standout features for us was the jacuzzi, which was a real treat after long countryside walks. It added that extra touch of luxury and made the evenings feel incredibly relaxing under the stars.
Set in the tranquil North Devon countryside, the location is absolutely idyllic. Just a short drive from the lovely village of Buckland Brewer and within easy reach of the coast, it’s the perfect base for exploring the area – or simply switching off and soaking up the peaceful surroundings.
We loved every minute of our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious, serene break in a beautiful rural retreat.
