Just completed our 7th stay here. This visit I’ve been using it as a training base for some serious running. And it’s amazing – at the end of each day the hot tubs are a perfect relax, the runs are on lanes so quiet that on one 75 minute session I suffered just 3 passing vehicles some deer and horses. Another highlight was, by following the tide times, a 12k run barefooted along the golden sands from Sandymouth to Bude and back. Incredible. Highly recommend staying at Great Eckworthy!
